Welcome to Mutual Memoir, where memories become masterpieces! Here at Mutual Memoir we strive to create a community where everyone can relax and create in a safe and friendly environment, but not too safe. The world of creative writing can be cutthroat and vicious, and to emulate that this site is equal parts creative writing competition and game, have you got what it takes to rise to the top?

Every week a new topic of discussion will be proposed which you will write about in the format we choose. There will also be a monthly theme and you will be judged on how well you can tie the topic and theme together in your submission. But that’s not all, once submitted other users will have the ability to acquire items which will allow them to edit, black out, or even erase your submission! So you best keep your eye on the prize and do their entry in first!

Once the submission deadline has passed an impartial judge will post the three they find to be the best and the community will be allowed to vote. The winning entry will be published in the years memoir for all to see- assuming they purchase the memoir.
So gather your wits, and your skills and prepare yourself to find out if the pen truly is mightier than the sword
