Hello everyone, I wanted to finally provide you guys with an update about what's going on with Eldemore. As many of you may have noticed, site development has been pretty slow, with no new features for a while. I wanted to make this thread to explain why that is, and give you all some light at the end of the tunnel.

Basically, I've had a lot going on in my personal life which has taken a lot of time away from Eldemore (such as working full-time). When I do have time to work on the site, it usually gets taken up by site maintenance, putting in new pets, preparing for events, responding to emails and PMs, and other administrative work. As a result, I've been neglecting new features and not updating people about what's going on.

In addition, Benathorn and Jendalie can only do so much to the site without me. I am the only coder, and the only one who can implement new features. We may eventually find someone to help with coding, but for the time being, it would be quite impractical.

That's mostly why there hasn't been any new features outside of events. Things have died down a bit though, so now I intend to dedicate more time to the site and maintain a more active presence on here. That's where this thread comes in.

So what's coming up? We have actually been hard at work on a major new feature. I don't want to reveal what it is just yet, because I'd like to have more of it done so as not to get everyone's hopes up too soon, but we believe it will bring a fresh, new aspect to the site. I'm trying my best to have it ready before the Christmas event, but if not, we will have it pretty early next year.

There is more planned beyond that, but I will leave it here for now. I promise to keep this thread updated, and I'm sorry to have kept you all in the dark for so long. We haven't stopped working on the site, we continue to put a ton of work and heart into it.
