Question on rarity

Not sure if this is the right forum for this sort of question so please let me know if it's not.

My main question is this: is a '16 ultra rare event pet worth around as much as a '13 rare monthly pet? I know there's a lot more to it than that, but just looking for a general idea so I might be able to base a trade.

Depending on the exact pets and what feels most reasonable for both you and your trading partner, a monthly rare from 2013 would be worth approximately 1-2 recent event ultra-rares when comparing bauble worth. The most likely current bauble values for a monthly '13 rare and a recent event ultra-rare are 30-35 baubles for the former and 20-25 for the latter.
