Maybe we'll be getting it the day after, like with the last birthday? It seems very late in the day to release it now, leaving people only <13 hours to collect it instead of a full 24. It also seems odd that it wouldn't be automated the way the event releases seem to be (but I've only been around for one birthday, so maybe I'm mistaken).

Some Birthday pets are not always released to the public. A staff member has the option to release their custom pet to everyone on the site, or simply keep a personal single custom for themselves. So it is best not to assume that each staff birthday will yield a pet for the whole community.

In Azure's case, we have not heard from her for quite a few months now, thus no b-day pet could be prepared or made in time since we were unable to contact her for what she wanted. It is not that it was forgotten, simply, one could not be created due to no information being given to us about it. So it seems this year there will be no birthday pet release for August 4th.

Thank you to whoever updated with Aralas' birthday, I was gone on a trip and had no internet whatsoever.

I'm kinda glad that nothing was released yesterday, because I wouldn't have been able to get it.
