Tierchen wrote:Hello, I have a question, I hope it belongs here. Is there any way to find out what ID does a pet have? There seems to be two different addreses for one pet.
For example my ID is 2449, so my ID pet is:
https://www.eldemore.com/viewrune.php?gene=2449
but when I tried to find it in the player's groups, I found three of this dire wolf, two of them match the date and time of adoption, but their adresses look like this:
https://www.eldemore.com/viewrune.php?p=87a133a4565c13ba
https://www.eldemore.com/viewrune.php?p=3ec537cabcff20f6
that's what I get when I click ANY pet, it's never the "https://www.eldemore.com/viewrune.php?gene=(ID here)" adress.
So my question is - why is it? How do I know which one is the right one? And is there any way to find out IDs of my pets, for example?

Out of those two, the one that matches your ID is the one that ends with p=87a133a4565c13ba. To find this I clicked on the link where you had the gene=# URL, right clicked on the pet image, and then looked at the properties, which displayed the current URL address for that pet.
I would guess that the second address leads to a second black dire wolf that they adopted at the same time/day due to the full litter adoptions on Eld maybe?
I do not believe there is any way to find out the ID number no, at least not to my knowledge. You, in theory, could go through inputting numbers and see if your username pops up associated with any, but you would be there a very very long time.
