How high a priority are your hoards compared to your other Eldemore goals?
High. Hoarding is my only goal on Eldemore. My pet groups have been shot to hell, and I really like Drakes, so... why not? I guess I can say my secondary goal is to try for a complete pygmy drake collection.

How do you decide which pet or pets to hoard?
Simple. Drakes, drakes, drakes, drakes, and did I mention drakes? But they have to be pygmy drakes. I really adore the old pygmy drake lineart on here.

What is your favorite thing about hoarding?
Eldemore-wise, seeing the pygmy drake lineart and seeing a lineart I love. Though I'm a bit torn. I might just hoard the old pygmy drake lineart.

How do you feel when you notice someone else hoarding the same pet you are?
It doesn't really affect me. I guess it would affect me more if I were hoarding just one design, but I'm not.

What do you do with your hoards when you complete them?
My hoard is never complete.

i think 3 other people have drake species hoards, which doesn't bother me.

i let them sit around and occasionally look at them xP

My wishlist has a considerably higher priority than my hoardlist. I like hoarding, but i'd rather get a complete collection.

How do you decide which pet or pets to hoard?
Basically just ones i really like or ones that mean something- for example i love Appaloosa horses, so any pets with the coat patterns of Appies get hoarded.

What is your favorite thing about hoarding?
It's just fun getting so many of the same pet, heh.

How do you feel when you notice someone else hoarding the same pet you are?
I don't much mind really. Just think, hey we have the same taste, lol.

What do you do with your hoards when you complete them?
Just change the name to "blah blah- COMPLETE!" and let them sit there until i get bored of them to be quite honest. Sometimes i might up the hoard goal. But sometimes i will delete the hoard group if i get bored of them and trade them all off.

Alright fellow hoarders I have a question for you. What do you do when a pet theme you hoard has a bazaar pet that fits it? Do you try to collect as many as you can, set a lower number for yourself, or not include them at all?

I ask because I am trying to decide if I want to try and get 50 each of two of the Bazaar otterlings to go with the rest of my gear hoard, or if I should lower the number for just them. As much as I love them, and want to keep them on the same amount as the others, spending 30,000B to get 50 of them both just isn't possible.

@Kiinotasha: That's a pickle, alright! It really depends on your priorities, I think. If it's really important to you to have a uniform hoard with fifty of each gear pet, and the long-term goal of trading for enough otterlings is something you're willing to do, then I think you should buckle down and go for fifty of them! If having less than fifty of some pets wouldn't bother you and you're more concerned with finishing your goals in a timely fashion, then you should think of a smaller number. (Twenty-five of each might be a good compromise here, since you would have fifty total gear otterlings at the end. For got fewer otterlings if that still sounds like too much!)
Then again, maybe you can set a little exception to the rules for yourself and exclude ultra rare and legendary pets from your hoards.

What would I do? Well, if I were in your shoes, I'd probably commit to long-term collecting and grab fifty of each otterling no matter how long it took me, but that's just me.

I just joined, but I figure it will be pretty high. I'm actually super bummed that I can't get my hands on items except for when there are events - so I'll probably put slightly more effort into pet hoarding than I initially had planned.
How do you decide which pet or pets to hoard?
I hoard things that remind me of something that I care about in real life. For example it be a cat type creature that looks like a past pet, or something with roses that reminds me of my grandmother.
What is your favorite thing about hoarding?
I just think it's fun to do and it allows me to physically see what the heck I'm doing with all my time online.
How do you feel when you notice someone else hoarding the same pet you are?
It doesn't make me feel bad, in reality it means it's a nice design. Sometimes it makes me wonder if I should up my offering price.
What do you do with your hoards when you complete them?
I'm not sure I'd ever say a hoard is complete, unless you own every single one.

I love your hoard of pygmy eggs, Zeno!! That would be such a cute hoard from an in-canon perspective. Baskets of carefully-placed eggs, wrapped in little blankets for cushioning.

Exactly! Like...I just imagine a big soft nest with all those perma-babs all scattered around, with blankets and pillows and stuffed animals everywhere just all soft and cushy and comfy for them, and it just seems so cute and adorable and i love them.
