Last night, a teenage(?) halfborn elvian appeared in my dream! He had one brown and one green eye, silver hair, and stubby gray antlers. I decided to make him into a character.
I think that he was tired of all the muffled whispers and pitiful glances and disgusted looks, so he fled from his elvian kingdom to a human village, where he became an apothecary's apprentice.
He probably keeps his antlers trimmed and wears a hood as well as an eyepatch over his green eye when he goes in public.
Whether he covers his elvian features or not, others think he is unusually handsome, as is common among halfborn elvians.

Oooo he sounds like a beautiful halfborn Elvian with a nice background story going for him already. I love having dreams about characters for that reason - it gives you most of the information you need to know about them and just expands on it.

Both of my Eld characters, the avian Ishkeir and a human named Amalia, came from a dream also. XP

What about Leto, Clem? It means "hidden one" from Greek. I think it's fitting because of the way Elvians hide their halfborns~

edit: I drew some sketches of him, I'll show you all later.
Unlike his peaceful, passive agressive elvian brethen, he has a lot of rage stored up and is easily provoked and more or less has anger issues. When the apothecary took him in, he found a knife and started aggresively filing his little antlers, as if to try to get rid of his elvian heritage.
He isn't too fond of a lot of elvians, but you can't really blame him. Nobody would like it if their parent locked them up and hid them from the family during visits, and nobody likes to be ignored and treated as an object of shame that taints their kingdom's bloodline simply by existing.

I can't help but wonder what it would be like if Leto met Ebony, considering they both have a very similar hate for their Elvian heritage but come from very, very different backgrounds....

What is Ebony's background like?

To make a long story short, she was born to a human (mystic) mother but had an Elvian father. Because she was born out of the forest (her mother hadn't realize she was pregnant until she left the Elvians but that's another story), the Mystic group she lived with made a big deal of hiding every part of her that was remotely Elvian, and though her mother did care for her, such repression of half of her identity led to a lot of internalized hate for her who she was, especially her Elvian half.

I just figured it would be interesting to see these two meet considering how different yet similar they are.
