Man the Griffins this month are stunning!

I need to get better at trading for Legacy pets as soon as I adopt them, they seem to be really hard to find after they grow up...

I really like like serval as well. It's my second favorite so far of the litter my favorite being the desert one
. But to me, it looked like the tail had ripples like water on it and the darker marks by the belly of the serval reminds me of the tops of trees. I'm probably reading too much into it though.

I have some headcanons!


The way the stars across this drake's body are, it looks as though a human tried their hand at decorating their companion. What if their skin reacts to changes in temperature or pressure, changing colors when one runs their hand along the scales? The face and the wings have the same sort if gradient because of the drake rubbing against people or their surroundings, and the stars were drawn on by the drake's rider. Chimes in the same shape might have been hanging from the wings already, inspiring that choice of design, or they might have been added afterwards to match the aesthetic.
Please, though, imagine a drake rider doodling all over their drake. The #1 use of a color-changing bond, right?



This one obviously has a bond who adores them. Ornamentation like that, I'd imagine, would require some delicate artistry. I love the thought that their bond might have looked at them, thought how their drake's scales looked like the night sky, and decided to decorate them in celestial chimes to celebrate that.
