There's probably some significance to be found about the placement of the fabric if you read enough into it; and I'd bet we get an ancient of the future at some point that follows the same trend.

I find it interesting that this liger's right horn is smaller than its left. Could the still growing split have the opposite when it reaches second stage? Or maybe it's really an error? Anyway, I' still going to headcanon some kind of story for these ligers one I see them fully grown!

The angle of the adolescent lines makes it hard to tell, but the left horn is chipped! Their right horn chips slightly as they grow up, too.
