Winter Olympics

Putting aside whether anyone should go to this months Olympics... Want to say I am so excited! Want to see if Shaun White can pull off another gold in the half pipe ... Or will his crown slip? Will there be a new trick unveiled ... Will Jenny Jones win for team GB. Yes! Team GB snowboarders! I'm behind you!

Opening Ceremony

Did you see the glitch-y ring? It was so shocking, all the others were expanding beautifully, but that one ring just had to malfunction. :(

Yeah, the 3 hour history lesson was planned out amazingly. <3 xD But, I'm serious. The fireworks were timed and ready, and the dances were majestic. :D

I came back after over a year and there is still 0 commuication. Disgraceful behaviour

Anyone else see the spectacular ice skating from the two Russians? I watched a fair bit of their routine and it was amazing! I completely agreed with the announcer when he said the woman skated beautifully!
I came back after over a year and there is still 0 commuication. Disgraceful behaviour

I didn't, but I may have to see if I can find it online :)

I've missed almost everything Olympic-related due to little TV access and course work; however, it was very exciting to hear about the Canadian sisters who placed first and second in moguls! ^-^

Managed to watch ski jumping today, though. It looks amazing, but I feel like it must be rather scary to sit on the bench at the top before you go.

Awwwww. Team GB's Skier Katie isn't going to place for a medal. US, Canada and Australia (O.O) are in the medal positions right now
